A Huge Success: The Filming of “The Driver”
This short film, a collaboration between Hollywood and Mexico, has found the perfect setting for its production in these beautiful locations. The natural beauty of the region and the warmth of its people have been fundamental to the development of this project.
The direction of Charles Alleyne and with a stellar cast that includes Verania Lucken from Mexico and Justin Marciel McManus from the United States, as well as the talented Mexican actor Juan Reynoso from LA, “The Driver” is an exciting action film made in Mexico. The plot takes the protagonist through Mexico on a vital mission, highlighting the cultural and scenic richness of this area, which includes the cities of Tampico and Madero in the state of Tamaulipas and the city of Tampico Alto, Veracruz.
The amazing participation of the production team, including Adrián Contreras, Fanny Cortez, Juan José Villela and Jorge de la Peña, who have worked tirelessly to make this project a reality, is also noteworthy. The shoots include various natural locations, as well as the emblematic Templo del Señor de las Misericordias in Tampico Alto and the historic Alijadores building in downtown Tampico.
